Did you ever believe there could be a connection between Johnnie Walker and Generative AI?
Scotch whiskey, art, and AI are amalgamating to provide whiskey lovers a once-in-a-lifetime experience to design their own Johnnie Walker Blue label bottles in collaboration with Scottish artist Scott Naismith. Diageo, owners of Johnnie Walker, are touting the initiative as a generative AI-powered experience, where buyers can answer three simple questions that will influence key themes in Scott’s work, ultimately impacting their bottle design. The simple prompts will generate various colours, locations, artistic styles, and times of day, resulting in a unique bottle that will be printed in real-time.
The experience is part of ‘Project Halo’, a Diageo Breakthrough Innovation that allows brands and consumers to co-create personalized label designs and artwork. The project leverages Amazon’s Titan bedrock model, which ensures the ethical protection of artist work while allowing consumers to co-create designs. Currently available at the Edinburgh location, the experience is set to run from August 1-31 2024.
